Hall Facilities and Hire

Little Witley Village Hall is situated in the midst of the Worcestershire countryside with stunning views of the Abberley hills and surrounding countryside. The hall is managed by a committee of local volunteers and boasts a wide selection of lively community events and activities throughout the year.

Hall Facilities

Little Witley Village Hall can be hired on an hourly basis. Half an hour either side of a booked time is free to allow for setting up & clearing away.

The Main Hall

Provides a versatile space with a stage which can moved and located anywhere in the hall.

Facilities include: spotlighting, PA sound system*, Screen*, projector* and is fully equipped for screening films* and has a maximum occupancy of 200 people.

The main hall is approximately 99 square metres and the measurements are approximately 14.92m length by 6.65m width.

Main Hall (including use of kitchen equipment and kitchen facilities) = £11/hour

Main Hall as above and use of Small Meeting Room = £15.50/hour

Small Meeting Room

May be hired alone or with the Main Hall and provides an excellent venue for a meeting or small gathering. We can even supply bar staff for your event.

The Small Meeting Room area is approximately 21 square metres and the measures approximately 4.13m length by 5.24m width.

Small Meeting Room only = £5.50/hour

Bar

The Village Hall Bar is at one end of the Small Meeting Room. If the Small Meeting Room is hired then usually the bar will be shuttered off. However if you require a Pay Bar then this can be arranged with staff who will serve alcohol provided by the Village Hall for and extra fee see Hire Charges.

Staffed Bar = £55/4 hour period or part thereof
If a Temporary Event Licence is required for the event = approximately £25/event

Kitchen

Recently refurbished, the kitchen is fully equipped and includes:

Cooker (2 ovens, grill and 6 burner hotplate)
Fridge and small freezer
Plate warming cabinet
Commercial dishwasher
Crockery and cutlery

Terrace

The Lounge opens onto a fully furnished Terrace with breath-taking views over the Worcestershire countryside and the setting sun. There is also space available for a marquee extension for wedding receptions, parties, etc.

Technology

The hall has broadband internet access provided by Airband which is accessible via WiFi.

Equipment

The Hall has an upright piano and skittle alley both of which can be hired for an extra charge but by specific arrangement only.

Parking

Parking available for up to 40 cars

Car park only (for walking groups, caravan rallies etc.) – £2/car

Note

NB No animals are allowed in the Viilage Hall unless they are trained assistance dogs eg guide dogs or dogs formally trained by a recognised organisation who train assistance dogs.

Regular Hire

Some hirers regularly hire the Hall on a weekly basis. If you are a new weekly hirer and you have done this satisfactorily for several weeks, we will consider a 10% discount on standard hire charges to recognise the regular income and reduced administration work to ourselves.

Extra Charges

* – Subject to additional hire charges and when screening commercial films the hirer must ensure that licensing has been obtained for showing the film. A film can be booked and licenced for you to show if you prefer. Please enquire with likely choice of film. Charge to include licence in the order of £100
